Extended Description:
2009 West Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve shows complexity and depth with well-balanced flavors of dark cherries, cedar, olive, bay leaves and a hint of eucalyptus. We have many eucalyptus trees on our land and a long dry fall usually means that some of the oil sticks to the skin of grapes. All grapes come from The Ridge Block of our hillside estate which starts on top of a long ridge and slopes west, 300 feet above the valley floor of Dry Creek Valley.
