Extended Description:
In our 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is an elegant and complex wine with dark cherry aromas and hints of cloves and other spices. The flavors on the palate start with black cherry, ripe plum and continue with laurel, cloves, mocha, nutty spices and a hint of licorice. The 2015 season started with a dry winter, some spring rain and ended with a warm fall. The harvest was quite small and was as usual hand picked in October. At 13.5% alcohol and a wealth of refined flavors it is more of a Bordeaux style Cabernet and was aged in French oak barrels for 27 months. After bottling it was further aged for 4 years before release in March 2022. Enjoy now or let it continue to evolve more complex flavors over the years.
The grapes are grown on our hillside property 300 feet above the valley floor in Dry Creek Valley.
