2005 West Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Extended Description:

Max 2 bottles per order. WEST Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2005 is a rich and elegant wine with flavors of ripe dark fruit such as black cherries and plum, a hint of laurel, tobacco and olive. A deep color and a round bouquet make for a complex wine which will continue to evolve over the years.  As aging is an important part of our winemaking we bottle age our Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve for 4 years before release. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve was the first American wine ever, to be selected for the Nobel Awards Banquet in 2010.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on our hillside property 300 feet above the valley floor. The fog rarely reaches the west facing slopes and the grapes get long, warm and sunny day to mature with full and complex flavors.
